A trail system with a variable terrain. 12 loop trails, mostly 1 to 2 km in length and varying from easy to quite difficult. Wooded, groomed almost daily, averaging 12 ft wide.Trail Reports

I skied most of the 18km; Excellent conditions - Sweet! The snow is quite dry so glide was not so good, but it is finally smooth and the tracks are firm.

Conditions: Fresh snow, skiing on a rolled trail.
I skied the rolled trail. Not bad, the scenery was great. On my way out Scott was grooming, it was great. Thanks Scott.

Rolled/packed the new snow on the trails this morning; I'll be back to groom (classic and skate) tonight. I am expecting it to be excellent skiing on Thursday and beyond.

Conditions: Very good, still firm enough given the warmer temps.
Skated a bunch of loops today. All were in excellent shape. Had the pleasure of hitting the challenges of the rollercoaster loop "jump". I know it's there, but every time I hit it, it turns into a new adventure. CFS never disappoints. Great trails and even better grooming.

Trails groomed early this morning, before it got too warm. Excellent conditions and very beautiful, especially in the white pine/hemlock groves.

Most of the trails were groomed again this morning. I did not get the north trails (Skidder & Jammer) done yet; school groups coming for the day very soon. Hopefully will get those done later today. Excellent conditions.

After grooming this afternoon, 90% of the trails are in excellent condition; 10% in very good condition. We only got about 1" of new snow, but it groomed very nicely.

Skied about 6km of the trails early morning; it was fast and glorious! Green klister (covered by Start Terva) wax is working well. Tracks are solid and skate lane looks good. I skied the half-km connector to the Rib Lake Trails; it looks like the skate lane got a fresh groom but the tracks were an older groom.

I groomed and tracked the 18km of trails this morning; most of the 12 different loops are in very good to excellent condition. Thin spots repaired with shoveling, and it is mostly just leaf debris that is poking through. Rollercoaster has very thin snow cover under the hemlocks so is only in fair condition.
