Conditions: Fair to poor, ungroomed.
I scouted out Afton this morning on snowshoes. It's skiiable--one skiier was out and several trail runners, including a guy in running shorts and tank top who was snowshoe running--but rough. 1/2-1" fresh powder on hard icy pack. I'm going to try my fishscale bangers tomorrow.
