Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Groomed/combed all trails this morning. Skiing in open sections is quite good, but both debris and bare ground are more prevalent since the warm up and lack of new snow. Care is advised, especially on the bigger downhills in the Woods where there are a lot of leaves and larger pieces of mulch present. Use caution and stay alert. Hoping for snow!

Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Skied the Ski Games trail at Battle Creek. Grooming is holding up and a lot of the problems from erosion are covered up. Snow was fast at 5PM. With more snow this is a real gem.

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
All trails were groomed tonight except the A Climb. Most have two passed. Grooming turned out to be very good. Not much base so be careful. The Ski Games trail was done and looks good.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Skied during the light snow this morning. The complete trail has been rolled. There is good snow coverage even on the Ski Games side. There hasn't been a lot of traffic on the trails so expect it to be soft. Without a firm base you can expect to hit a few rocks and some ground here and there.

Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Pole-hiked almost the whole Battle Creek network today with my son, tossing sticks and rocks along the way. It's really not skiable except for a few 50-meter stretches here and there. But there's at least some snow everywhere, and the deck is mostly clear and clean. One good snowfall and some setup then grooming would put almost all of it into skiable shape.

Tree scheduled to be removed has now fallen and blocks the trail on the farthest west side of the ski games trail.
