Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
We are currently planning to continue grooming the 3k manmade loop for classic and skate through Sunday April 22nd if the current weather forecast is accurate. The forecast says we will have bellow freezing mornings through Sunday, so this will allow for proper grooming. This could be the last weekend of skiing! Cheers to a great season!

Fresh corduroy for skate and fresh classic tracks this early morning! A few spots getting dirty but easy to avoid. Fast, firm, fun skiing!

The 2018 Spring Loop was groomed last night and the skate deck is nice and firm and fast. Watch out for the corner coming down into the meadow it is already starting to ice up at 7:30 this morning. The classic track looks nice as well.

Plenty of groomed track still intact by early afternoon. North side of parking lot. Didn't leave until about 2:30 and things were slow and slushy by then. Well worth it tho, and a beautiful day there. First time I've ever skied on my birthday (all 60 of them). Thanks for grooming!!

Classic skied the 3.3 loop with skins on this morning. Piston Bully just finishing up when we arrived at 9. Yet another day of stellar skiing. 10 o clock is the game changer for the snow today. Standing ovation for the groomers! 27 degrees at 9 - 43 degrees at 10:30. Have fun!

One of the best skis of the year. Skated several laps of the 3.33k loop after the fresh corduroy had set up. Snow still a little soft, so you'll get a good workout. Unlike yesterday, skate deck is now full wide the and there is still a single, very solid looking, classic track on the side. A perfect day, though it was starting to get warm as I left. I think I saw every known skier in the metro there, including Matt Liebsch.

The groomer was leaving the station at 6:30 this morning. The skate deck that was being set was pretty soft and I was postholing a lot. Off to the left where they didn't groom it was too hard... and I feel like the Bears with the porridge.
