We were not able to fix our track setter in time to get out and finish grooming before the warm temps arrived. Temperatures are in the 50s today and the snow has become slush and ice. Grooming is done for the season at Anvil. Expect trees and debris to be down on Devil's Run and Ninemile.

We received about 8 inches of heavy snow yesterday. We attempted to groom today, but most of the day was spent cutting down trees and picking up fallen limbs. We set track on Lake Loop and Military Trail. While on Lake Loop our track setter broke, so nowhere else has tracks. We cleared the trees off of East and West Trail but did not make it to Ninemile or Devil's Run. Half of East and West trail is groomed without tracks.

Tried skating this morning on the dusting of fresh snow, military, devils, and ninemile trails. Military trail is very difficult to skate on with walkers using the path and leaving footprints. Devils and ninemile too skinny to skate on. Would be doable on classic skis, saw lots of crash spots on the downhills.

About 6 inches of fluffy snow fell over the weekend. We finally have a nice base to work with. All trails at Anvil were groomed this morning. Tracks are set everywhere but Devil's Run.

Anvil trail was groomed and tracks were set this morning. Our UTV is out of service right now so we used snowmobiles and a smaller groomer than normal. Tracks are set on East, West, Ninemile, Lake Loop, and Military Trails. Most areas have firmed up well in the extra cold temps today.

Anvil received about 4 inches of snow over the weekend. Part of the trail was groomed but it was not finished due to mechanical issues. Tracks were set on Ninemile and Military Trail. Butternut trail was groomed and tracked. All of the Nicolet North trail system (down the road from and connected to Anvil) was groomed and the majority was tracked.

About 3 to 4 inches of light to medium density snow fell throughout the day. Existing classic track set was snowed in then skied in. Some old time classic ski conditions on the Anvil trail today, lots of fun. Skied all trail segments except for the Devils Run.

All trails on Anvil were groomed today. Tracks were set on all trails except Devil's Run. The extreme winds yesterday brought down sticks and small debris. We cleared as many sticks as we could. The base has firmed up with the cold but there are still a few soft spots.

Anvil was groomed today. Tracks were set on East, West, and Military trails. A couple inches of snow fell over the weekend. Expect some soft spots, the drier snow we have received does not pack the best.

Anvil Trail was groomed on Friday morning. Tracks were set on East Trail, West Trail, and Military Trail. Anvil trail has been busy with lots of visitors over the weekend.
