The campground loops were the best for skating, as they had the widest trail set. Prairie loop was tough as the trail wasn't wide enough to get a good skating stride in without going over the classic tracks. Soft fluffy snow, and I got down to the pavement a couple times so definitely don't use your best skis. Beautiful day out there!

Trails were rolled but the snow was very soft and fluffy. Difficult to skate ski, but classic skiers seemed to be doing well in the tracks.

I took the family out to ski the prairie loop at 2pm, and the park service was out grooming the trails shortly after we started. I believed they groomed the majority of the trails based on the path they took. The snow base is quite thin in some spots, so careful with your nice skis out there. It was nice to finally have enough snow to ski!
