Columbia is still hanging on. Thin and very slow snow on the skate deck. Many dirt and grass patches, but there was always a way around them. I edged through to a cart path once near the bridge. The skier made tracks are pretty much gone. Still skiable though!

I'm dreaming of a good ski New Years. But we gotta B ski Xmas. Columbia is very skiable. Full coverage but lots of grass blades on the hills. Go get some B skis and enjoy the paltry snow.

Very nice to ski at Columbia. Mostly good golf course skiing. Thin in the usual spots. The one rough spot was the trail by the north parking lot. An alternative would be to make your own trail through the saddle. I stayed on the west side.

Groomed Columbia tonight, but didn't set tracks as it is too thin. There are some human made tracks that I left alone for decent length of sections along the trail. There are some thin and bare spots that could damage skis, but most of the course looks pretty good and skied well today. Enjoy Columbia while we can.

My first ski at Columbia in almost two years! Thank you so much to the groomers, love the added 2K loop. I skied classic even though no tracks could be set. Decent human-made tracks on the west side of the railroad tracks. Leaves and grass poking through in places, but very skiable!!

Groomed the entire 7k course for skate. I wasn't able to set tracks, but I left the skier made tracks intact where it was possible. Coverage is thin but mostly pretty good. The whole course is skiable, but it is definitely rock ski conditions. If you skate you'll probably cut through to a cart path now and then, and there are dirt and grass patches sticking through here and there. Can't wait to ski it tomorrow!

I only skated two laps on the driving range loop. Trail was not recently packed, but doable. Glided really nice! Looks like a dozen or so other skate-style people have been there. No grass poking through on the loop, except a couple spots where someone dug a little deep. Fun!

Rolled Columbia tonight and established the ski course, and a walking trail. The snow was lovely but thin. We are letting it set up tonight and will see if we can run the groomer. It's definitely rock ski conditions, so please be careful if you head out.
There are over 7k of trails between the east side and the west side of the bridge. Let's hope more snow comes soon. Enjoy!
