The deck is holding up reasonably well for the warm weather. The classic tracks are washed out in the stadium and inconsistent in other areas of Wirth. The further you get from the stadium the better the tracks are- go up coaches corner and head toward La Squadra for better/faster tracks. Overall, it's not a terrible day for a ski and the park was quiet for a Christmas break afternoon.

Conditions on the snowmaking trail were great on Christmas Day. The snow felt extra fast and there were plenty of skiers out. This is an impressive trail.

Natural trails: Good conditions of you're skijoring. A bit more difficult if you're not. My spouse and I switched off with our dog, and it's definitely much trickier without canine help. I also had more rough contact today than I did two days ago.

Trails were nice and firm, helps that I got out after work. Only skied one lap since I'm not in the best of shape yet. Classic tracks looked nice from the skate side of the trail.

Christmas Eve early afternoon ski on the snow-making trails, surprisingly not very crowded. Conditions were very good, no ice and the uphills still pretty intact. Ridgeline and La Squadra now open and in good shape.

Skijored the natural snow trails today with my best friend. We hit all the naturals trails that were open north of Glenwood. Conditions were just as good as Saturday morning, so it held up well over the weekend.

Excellent conditions on the Wirth man-made loop today. LaSquadra was being worked on and should open soon. Ridgeline is in great shape - nice to get out on a sunny day!

Perfect conditions at Wirth late afternoon today. Both parking lots by the trailhead were full at 3:30 pm, but I eventually got a spot. It looks like La Squadra will be opening soon so the big lot by the chalet will have access to the trail. It was so much fun to have the addition of Ridgeline open today with the great hills. Awesome ski today with the side benefit of a beautiful sunset!

Skied the natural snow trails this morning. It's amazing that it was mostly good coverage. The biggest risk occurred when skiing over paved bike paths with any bit of grade. I had to really focus on a flat ski to keep from scraping the pavement—at least those sections were far and few between. I'd definitely go out again, but don't bring your nice skis.

Nothing groomed today with the snowfall, so it was slow going but still pleasant to be out. With this volume of snow, skate was definitely the preferred technique; makeshift tracks were on and off. Lots of grooming action on La Squadra.
