2017-2018 season
Reports 1 to 10 of 26    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Had a great ski and saw two other folks out and about. A little icy in some areas and a couple avoidable bare spots but tracks are still holding up. It's almost mid March, can't complain about that!

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied the whole loop this morning. It was a little icy where snow had melted and refreezed. There were also a few brown spots that barely interfered with my run. Most of the skate and classic tracks were in pretty good shape for this time of year. Definitely worth getting out there.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
I skied the whole course (3.5K) and there were only a few bare spots I had to ski around. The classic tracks were in pretty good shape other than that. It was about 38 and sunny when I was out (4PM) so the snow was pretty wet, but I saw two other skiers. I had a great time!

Got out to Columbia early afternoon. No classic track set yet but folks have still been getting out here from the looks of it. What a gorgeous day to be outside! Thanks to the volunteers that keep this trail open and rolling.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Skied Tuesday night, course was rolled and in decent condition all things considered. No skate deck or classic tracks, but a firm enough course to ski around on. Watch out for the water hazards. Many thanks to the groomer(s) that have volunteered their time to make Columbia a nice neighborhood ski this season.

Groomed this morning. Skate deck is good, couple spots that are dirty but are avoidable. Classic track was set everywhere but is shallow in some spots.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail is currently just rolled, with no final grooming or classic track set.
Unfortunately, the groomer broke this morning, so it may be a little while before conditions improve.

Groomed for skate and one classic track. Packed well, couple powdery spots but overall a fantastic ski.

[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Skied a few laps at Columbia Tuesday night. Some minor bare spots on the back side of the driving range net but other than that the skate deck was in surprisingly good shape. You could use B skis if you were careful. The classic tracks appeared to be glare ice in spots. Overall better than I expected. Thanks to the volunteer groomers to maintaining this little local trail.

Lovely conditions for evening ski. Some walker footprints but nothing that interfered with the glide. Nice grooming, a few avoidable grassy spots topping some hills.
