Excellent shape. Classic skiing trails only. We skied the largest loop which intersects other trails. Double tracked. Also skied a smaller loop. Conditions were perfect.

Skied several loops around Dragonfly at noon today and thought it was fine. Yes, some chunky stuff between the tracks and a few shallow tracks and a couple washed out corners, but overall, thought it was pretty good. Double tracked and tracks were fast and easy to stay in on that fun loop. Didn't have high expectations going there, thought it might be icy, but it was actually pretty good! I didn't ski Antelope and thought that might be a little icy coming down the hill.

Tracks had not been touched since before the wind. Skied two laps of dragonfly, at that point, the tracks were satisfactory. Before I began my third lap (around 9am), the groomer had arrived and pretty much busted up any sign of a well set track. I skied three more laps on quite soft, chunky, poorly defined tracks. As I drove away, I saw the groomer getting loaded on a County trailer.

Observation
Track in condition near to freshly set. Some bare spots not seriously affecting ski ability. Some icy spots.

I was surprised that the trails were not well groomed. The tracks were either worn or drifted over. It was fun to be outside on a warmer day.

Great snow. Lots of skier made tracks on wind blown snow. Overall a good first ski of the year.

Skied Deer and dragonfly trails. Tracks are set on both, though in open areas they have definitely become windblown to where tracks are barely visible or completely under snow. Tracks in tree growth are pretty decent.

Trails are in excellent condition as of 10:30am. Open areas will be windblown by the end of the day. We have a really nice base.

Conditions were fair to good. The track appeared to be mostly skier set, somewhat inconsistent and shallow with some washouts However, once you got back to the hills in the southwest corner the downhills and uphills appeared to be machine-groomed with no track and packed on the downhill and only one track with a packed area beside it for herringboning on the uphills. I did the entire perimeter and only met one snowshoer, who thankfully was walking on the side, not on the tracks. There were lots of skiers heading out on the trail when I left. It was 8 degrees and sunny. I used Rex Light Green which I probably should have extended a little further because I missed a few kicks.
