Trail Detail
Notes
The Lester-Amity trail offers 15K of varied terrain for beginner to experienced skiers through pine, aspen, and birch forests. An additional 3K circles the Lester Park Golf Course and is accessible from the main Lester-Amity Trail. The openness of the golf course offers an excellent place for beginning cross-country skiers, and several short cuts are available. There is also a 5K trail portion that is lit in the mornings and evenings.Trail Reports

Stay home. Plenty of snow, though it's refrozen hard and rocket fast. The real issue is that with today's gale winds there are hundreds of branches down in the trail, and at least one tree. If it gets regroomed this year, it'll probably have to be after people come out to clear the brush.

The trails were freshly groomed. I had a lot of fun skiing. It was a beautiful day. The tracks were in a very good condition.

Beautifully groomed flat trail with a deep track. As of noon the trail was not breaking down and had a nice powdery corduroy track.

We got on the trail just behind the groomer at about 4:30 this afternoon. Much of what we skied hadn't been groomed yet, so I can't tell you how it came out, but what was groomed was lovely for classic, soft for skate. Grateful to whoever kicked a track in in the deep snow earlier today.

Beautiful! Perfect classic skiing today on groomed trail. J-loop a joy. Fast and no fear. Temperature ideal and snow-covered trees a welcome scenic setting.

Just skated Lester and it's a winter wonderland. As expected the skate lanes are tender for the time being, but if you are willing to dial it back and spend more time on a flat ski, you'll enjoy it. If you attack the uphill you'll burnout and gouge the trail. The track set is immaculate. Enjoy!

Had skied Tuesday night after the snowfall and it wasn't groomed, but conditions were near perfect on Wednesday night after grooming. Skated the lighted loop and found the best conditions in weeks. Lots of skiers were out though and the corduroy was getting churned up.
