Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Fox Hill is in excellent condition for skating. A firm and level deck with good purchase and safe corners. Classic track is still in tip top shape too. Jerry came to scarify around 6:45 busting up the top just enough to give a slight cushion. Enjoy!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
Conditions: Good/very good for skating Friday late afternoon.
Trail was firm but provided good edging and control, even on downhills. Great grooming given the conditions. I used B skis but good skis probably would have been fine. Hopefully the warm temps won't do too much damage. Classic track looked good on some of the trails and nonexistent other places.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Very good to excellent. Nicely groomed throughout for skating. A solid classic track on all the lower and meadow trails.
It's been forever since I've been to Fox Hill. It's changed a lot in a good way. Lots more tight technical sections in the woods now. Well worth the cost of a trail pass.

What a difference a day makes! Fox Hill received about four inches of snow overnight. It was groomed for skate and the classic track was reset. Once it sets up, it should be near perfect. Excellent coverage throughout and no debris.

Fox Hill was in very good shape this morning for my pre-dawn skate. Everything had recently been scarified, and we received a dusting of snow that made it even better. Just as I was ready to head out, Jerry was cruising around with the scarifier again. I got to ski about 1/10th of K on it......it was even more glorious than before. Classic track looked untouched but in good condition. Enjoy folks!

Woods trails scarified this morning, successfully breaking up the hard pack and bringing up nice fresh snow. Remainder of the trail will be renovated before the weekend. With the warmer and softer snow, all trails good and renovated areas very good. Tracks still in good shape. Good to very good skiing throughout.
