Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Fox Hill was fast this morning but still safe. Enough of the top crust got worked up that there were no icy patches to be found. Conditions remain very good for skating. Layer up and enjoy!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Skating lanes are flat, firm, and fast. Excellent throughout.
Skied the entire trail system late morning, early afternoon. All skating trails were freshly groomed this morning and are in excellent condition. Very fast pillow silky top over a firm base. Potential last speed records are quite possible. Classic trails are just good as the warm temps of yesterday make the tracks slick. A blue klister day for the dedicated striders. New loops on the NW side are groomed this morning--challenging thigh busters.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: very good to excellent.
Took a short morning loop. 36 Degrees and nigh humidity. Skate track was freshly groomed this morning--very firm and fast
classic tracks very good to very good but difficult to get a good grip with cake wax--probably should have gone to klister.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Fox Hill is in phenomenal shape for skating. All trails have been groomed for skating and the classic track was left as is. Several striders were out and the classic track looked to be improving as the day went on. Minimal leaf/debris litter on the trails. I brought my B-skis expecting fair conditions but would rate them as very good overall and wouldn't hesitate to use good skis on all the trails. Thanks to groomer Jerry!

Its raining. Please stay off the trails until the weather is more favorable. A little patience will mean better trails in a few days.
