Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trails received about 4" of snow today. Groomers were out as soon as the snow stopped and the main loops are combed but no tracks have been set yet. Grooming will continue tomorrow to set tracks and work on the rest of the system. The conditions should be excellent by Friday and for the NE Classic Race on Sunday.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
North End main trail and NE Classic were tracked and they are firm and deep. I classic skied the main loop and thought the skiing was excellent. The Classic trail looked to be just as good but I did not ski it. The main trail and World Cup/Tony Wise were groomed for skate, but there was an equipment issue snd there are some rough spost and grooves in the trails. The main trail will be gone over again tomorrow morning with a different piece of equipment. The skate lanes are firming up well and should only get better with more grooming and the cold weather.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The crew has been busy. All the trails have been rolled. Track will be set this morning on the main loops and the NE classic trail. This afternoon either the main loops will be gone over again or the World Cup/Tony Wise will be groomed for skating - maybe both? Expect the trails to be soft for a day or two.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We have received about 5" of snow since yesterday. Groomers were out this morning to roll and comb the main North End loops. The trail is scheduled to be combed out again and tracks set this afternoon. The trail is very soft and has no tracks as of 1pm today. It is planned to groom again tomorrow with the main loops and likely the NE classic trail being the priority. The World Cup/Tony Wise will be done as the schedule allows.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skated the Norht End loops this morning while the grooming was going on. Skate lanes are flat, firm, and have excellent snow coverage. Conditions for skating are as good as they have been all year. I tried the classic tracks on some downhills and they are firm but shallow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
A groomer was out again this morning to touch up the North End loops. All were gone over for skating, but no tracks could be reset. We received another 1/2 inch of snow overnight which helped.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomers went out today and groomed the NE loops and the Worldcup/Tony Wise. The trails were in better than anticipated condition, plus we got about 1/2 inch of new snow. The grooming was for skate only but the old tracks look to be in good condition and should ski very well with the new snow. All trails are open.
