2nd Annual Most Improved High School
Skier of the Year Contest
It's that time again -- time for high school coaches
to nominate the skier on their team that they feel is
the most improved skier of the year. In most cases this
is not necessarily the best skier on their team, but
rather the skier that made the biggest improvement this
year.

Prizes
Fast
Wax is a strong supporter of the high school
racing programs, and has generously donated a large
waxing package for the winning skiers. This package
will include: Sport Wax Waxing Kit (225 gm. mixed
sport wax), 80 gram package (regular package) of fluoro
wax: HSF 20 (Salmon), HSF 30 (Tan), and plus HS0 (Extreme
White) and a Fast Wax Racer's Hat.
The will also donate wax to the school of the winning
skiers: Base Prep Kit (225 gm. base prep & sport
wax), 80 gram package (regular package) of fluoro wax:
HSF 10 (Green), and HSF 40 (Bronze).
In addition, this year we're rewarding the coaches too!
The coach that submits the entry for the winning skier
will receive a great REI ski bag for lugging
around your own skis to all those workouts. REI
offers a wide selection of cross-country skiing products,
as well as special pricing for high school skiers.

Coaches
Association Relay
January 14, 2001
Once again this year, plans are in place for a high school
relay event the day before the big state champions in Minnesota.
The relay is open to all schools, not just the ones that qualified
for state.
Expanded
Fast Wax School Purchase Program
October 30, 2000
Fast Wax has announced the expansion of their Fast Wax School
Purchase Program this year to include College programs, as
well as Wisconsin schools.
